Gene W. Brown Elementary

My name is June Moon. I grew up in Ohio but have lived in Tennessee well more than half my life now. My husband, Thomas, and I have three children and are blessed to be expecting our first grandchild, a little boy, this December! I have earned my degrees from MTSU and have been honored to have taught 3rd and 5thgrades and to have been a speech/language therapist and a librarian in Sumner County. This is my 5th year serving as a lead educator. I am thrilled to be back in Hendersonville as it is where I began my teaching career and where we lived and raised our children for 18 years. Everyone I’ve met at GBE has been so welcoming, and I look forward to getting to know all the faculty, staff, parents, and students.
