Gene W. Brown Elementary

My family moved to Hendersonville in 1973. My husband, 2 beautiful daughters (including one son in law), and I all graduated from Hendersonville High School (GO Commandos!). I received my Bachelor degree from MTSU and later went for my Masters from Walden University. For 16 of 19 years of teaching I have been right here at Gene Brown. I have taught pre-K, Kindergarten, First, and Fourth grades, (currently teaching 3rd) but don’t ask me to choose a favorite… I can’t! When I am not teaching I love reading, singing with the worship team at my church, going to the movies, and spending time with my girls, their husbands, and my two babies Tink and Harmony.
