My name is Mallory Parker. This is my fourth year teaching and my third year at Gene Brown! I am from Covington, Ga (Go Dawgs!) and moved to Tennessee after my husband, Drew, and I got married two years ago. He is a singer/songwriter and that is what brought us to Tennessee. We love it here! We do not have any children yet but we do have a chocolate lab, Whitley, who is 2 that is basically like our child. I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My first year teaching was in Covington and I taught 2nd grade. I have taught 1st grade both years that I have been at GBE. I come from a family of educators and administrators and teaching has always been a huge passion in my life. Some things that I enjoy doing are spending time with family and friends, organizing, crafting, reading, attending Georgia football games, and shopping.
